His Name Is Jesus

He is my Savior
His name is Wonderful
He comes to me at night when I am crying
He holds my hand when He hears me sighing
His name is Holy
His name is higher than all the angels
He is a holy Lamb, a living Sacrifice
His name is (what’s His name?)
His name is (what’s His name?)
His name is (what’s His name?)
His name is Jesus
He bears my load
When I must climb the mountain
He lifts me up when I fall from the Father
He is the light that shines for me
When I’m surrounded by darkness
He is my comfort, my strength
My joy and my all
Chorus
Who can walk on water?
Who can cause the blind to see?
Who’s the only One
Who loves me through my shame?
Who has died to save me?
Who has suffered so much pain?
And whose awesome words
Keep running through my brain?
He is my Savior
His name is Wonderful
He comes to me at night when I am crying
He holds my hand when He hears me sighing
His name is Holy
His name is higher than all the angels
He is a holy Lamb, a living Sacrifice
His name is (what’s His name?)
His name is (what’s His name?)
His name is (what’s His name?)
His name is Jesus
Things Go Better With God

Well I hear down that road
There’s a party going on
They’re dancing and singing
And carrying on
Well they’re making music
I can hear the sound
It’s a celebration
The best in town
Hey, ho, one thing you got to know
Things go better with God
Hey, ho, one thing you got to know
Things go better with God
Give me some rockin’ praise
Go to a higher place
Where I can see my Jesus
And maybe touch His robe
Where we can soar like eagles
Just raise your hands to the sky
It’s a celebration
Lifting His name on high
Hey, ho, one thing you got to know
Things go better with God
Hey, ho, one thing you got to know
Things go better with God
Late Bloomers

It seems you missed the gravy train
You say you let it pass you by again
You held the ticket in your hand
But you’re afraid to take that ride
The years keep rolling by
That gravy train don’t come around no more
Regretting all the pain inside
Just forget about that pot of golden dreams
Don’t quit
Around the corner awaits
Some new possibility
Don’t quit
We’re just late bloomers
You and I
Can you remember long ago
You took a turn and headed down that road
Now it seems a million miles have come and gone
You don’t know how to find your way back home
Don’t quit
Around the corner awaits
Some new possibility
Don’t quit
We’re just late bloomers
You and I
Rain

There was a day in summer long ago
The grass was high with flowers in the meadow
The world was yours then
The sun was shining upon everything
Out of the corner of your mind you saw
A little cloud on the horizon
Bringing shadows
And an eerie wind that turns the leaves
You wish the cloud would just pass by
And leave you all alone to drink the sunshine
Now and then a little rain is going to fall
A time of aching holds you in its grasp
A looping video of summer days past
It’s all a whirlwind
A thousand memories all flood your senses
You wish you didn’t know some things you know
But at the same time you embrace them
Haunting, bittersweet
You want to but you can’t let go
One day your sky will turn deep blue
He’ll part the clouds so you can see it clearly
Now and then a little rain is going to fall
Hi Baby Girl
©2003 Alan Gustin
When I saw my baby girl
For the first time in this world
My heart just melted
Down around my feet
When I held my baby girl
In my arms so small and frail
I knew that I’d be
In love forever more
One day will come when you will fly
You’ll leave to capture all your dreams
But when I see you I will say…
Hi baby girl, baby girl
I’m singin’ high baby girl, baby girl
Little girl, you are the center of my world
